The Rock

Unlike Con Air, The Rock is actually a good action movie.  In the second of the Bruckheimer/Cage movies to be released in high def by Disney on the same day, Cage teams up with a James Bond-ish Sean Cnnery and a brilliantly evil Ed Harris.

QUALITY:
Unfortunately, not as good as Con Air which is very disappointing seeing that this one is actually the BETTER of the two.

BONUS FEATURES:
A bunch.  Featurettes, TV featurettes, world premiere footage, outtakes, an interview with Bruckheimer, commentary and more.

OVERALL:
The Rock is definitely one of Bruckheimer’s better cast, better written and better overall movies.  The bonus features are great as well, it’s just disappointing that the quality isn’t as good as it should be.
