I mean really, attending DragonCon is like having two Christmases and two Halloweens in a year. Every Labor Day weekend tens of thousands of your fellow geeks fill Atlanta with amazing cosplay, well known sci-fi, fantasy, and comic book stars for a four day revelry like noneother.
This year was no exception. I attended the Sunnydale to Hollywood panel to check out some of my favs. Afterwards, I went to the walk of fame to say hello to some of my favorite stars. You have the opportunity to get a photograph or autograph, but as I was on the strictest budget, I settled for telling them how amazing I think they are!
I was even invited to talk to Terry Gilliam! It was an amazing interview with excellent insights and lots of laughs.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to attend the parade, but what I didn’t know is that if you’re in the Marriott Marquis, the parade comes to you!
If you haven’t purchased your DragonCon 2015 tickets, you should do so NOW! It’s only $85! After 11/15/14, the price goes up to $95. But honestly, is there any place you’d rather be next Labor Day? I know where I’ll be!
