My Blueberry Nights

Norah Jones has quite the singing voice. She has also appeared on the big screen, with her first major role being, My Blueberry Nights; a story about love and finding that one special person. Jeremy (Jude Law) owns a small café in New York where he bears witness to couples coming in and out, sometimes separately. He has a bowl full of keys to prove it. One night, Elizabeth (Norah Jones) comes in looking for information, eventually finding out that her boyfriend has been seeing someone else. She ends up becoming a regular and she and Jeremy become close. One day she decides to leave, traveling through Tennessee and Nevada. She finds Arnie (David Strathairn), a policeman by day and drunk by night, who has the same broken heart as her. Just outside of Vegas, she runs into Leslie (Natalie Portman), a gambler who teaches her the ins and outs of reading people and trust. Through these characters, Elizabeth discovers who she is and how to move on in her life.
