The Princess Bride is a classic example of how a relatively bad novel can be turned into a terrific comedy with the help of a genius like director Rob Reiner. The most amazing thing? How the hell they were able to create the inverted logo! See the image below.
QUALITY:
Good. The picture (even after proper adjustments which shouldn't have had to been done) has a yellowish contrast to it. The sound is also a little drowned out as if nothing was miced properly on set (also a problem on the standard DVD).
BONUS FEATURES:
Standard DVD and Blu-Ray included, featurettes, commentary, diary.
The bonus features are pretty boring outside of Cary Elwes sometimes funny video diary. The picture and sound are a bit disappointing but, judging off of the standard DVD, this seems to be a problem related to the filming of the actual movie and not much can be done about that.
