The beloved musical that had everyone wanting to climb mountains and sing about whiskers on kittens has now been released in an impressive 2 disc set to celebrate the 40th Anniversary. The movie has been beautifully restored giving it a fresh look. Julie Andrews introduces both discs and lends her thoughts to the commentary along with Christopher Plummer, Charmian Carr (Liesl in the film), Johannes Von Trapp, and Dee Dee Wood (choreographer). There is also commentary by Director Robert Wise with isolated score. Also for you and your family to enjoy you can choose the Sing-along and have Karaoke subtitles run along the bottom of songs from the movie.
