It is Christmas time and Swipper is trying to do what he is best at by swiping the Christmas Star at Dora’s Nochebuena Party. By doing so he ends up on Santa’s naughty list. The only way for him to get back on the nice list is to go back in time with Dora and visit his past, present and future and teach all the different Swippers that it is not nice to swipe.

This follows the formula of all the different Dora DVD’s I have watched. There are puzzles to figure out, things to find, and lessons taught. Along the way Dora encourages the viewers to interact either by helping to answer questions, point out where objects are, or to stand up and be active in a dance or song. The lessons learned in this story involve the spirit of giving and how nice it feels to share. While the title is “Christmas Carol” there are no ghosts floating around it is simply referring to traveling through time and seeing the mistakes that have been made and why they were wrong.
