Running Time:
120 minutes

Jackie Chan finds himself on the run after he robs a bank. Hiding out he gets roped into a dare to help his employer make if around the world in 80 days. They travel by boat, train, hot air balloon, and meet new interesting people along the way. But with numerous delays it will be a true race to the end.

First off this movie is very loosely based off the book, I think the only thing it did keep was the dare to make it around the world in 80 days. The script is weak, so is the dialog, and some of the accents are bad. Jackie Chan does.. well... what Jackie Chan does; different well choreographed fights scenes, and crazy stunts. The rest of the movie is full of bad puns, lame slapstick comedy, and tons of out of place cameos. This DVD also has an alternate opening, deleted scenes, stunt featurette, behind the scenes, and a music video. This movie has a few funny parts that may amuse kids, but Jackie Chan fans will be slightly disappointed with the lack of stunts.
