Bad Religion: The Riot

Bad Religion: The Riot

On DVD:
Tuesday, June 5, 2001
Running Time:
53 minutes

I love Bad Religion and when I heard about this DVD I could hardly contain myself. I've never gotten to see them live so I was interested to see if all I heard was true. I must also admit I had an interest in seeing the riot (come on, you know you want to as well). Bad Religion performs an awesome collection of songs and delivers each with such energy. However, don't get your hopes up.

The film is so fuzzy and shaky at times it is difficult to make out anything. The recording of the music is so bad that if you didn't have a listing of songs you would have no clue what they were playing. So I put it on the riot. The cameraman must have been terrified because it looks like he just ran. At the beginning you see a bottle thrown. From there you get to see the street and people talking about how it sucked. After about fifteen minutes of nothing you see one minute of broken windows. The DVD leaves you feeling disappointed and mad. If you are a true Bad Religion fan, you will not waste your time on this piece of crap.
