Season 1 caught my attention, it is quirky, dark, funny, and full of drama all rolled into one. So while watching season 2 I couldn’t help but be a little disappointed. I mean you still had Susan and her clumsiness, Gabby being spoiled and spouting some great one-liners, Lynette is still strong-willed, and Bree is up-tight and controlling. But the big mystery of the season kind of exploded and left them scrambling to pick up the pieces. Still though it wasn’t enough to kill the series.

Bonus features has something for everyone. The men of the show talk about Desperate Housewives, there are unaired stories for Susan & Lynette, a look at how the episodes go from concept to screen, a look at the fashion, “The Whole Story” promo, the housewives of Wisteria Lane talk about their juiciest moments, and a look at TV housewives Marion Ross, Shirley Jones, Debra Jo Rupp, and more. Of course you are also going to be given deleted scenes with optional commentary from Marc Cherry, an interview with Marc Cherry and his mom, and Marc Cherry picks his favorite scenes. Like season 1 the cardboard package is slide into a slightly clear plastic case that has just the girls on it. Inside there are episode summaries. A great show that starting to drift a little in the middle of the season; but managed to pick it up again in the end. Let’s just hope it can regain the creative nature in season 3.
