Eureka Seven AO: Part Two continues from where the first 12 episodes of the series left off with Ao meeting with his mother Eureka aboard the Gekko ship. What follows is Ao’s struggle about learning who he is and what he’s capable of as the son of the powerful Eureka.

The anime series features massive mechs that both Ao and Eureka pilot called Nirvash. They each have one and they use them to fight against powerful entities known as Secrets that threaten humanity. There is also Truth, a Secret in human form, who has powerful abilities. The series itself is pretty interesting, although I wouldn’t recommend starting out with Part Two as it begins in the middle of the series with no introduction to its past events.

Eureka Seven AO is a sequel in and of itself so there’s a lot of catching up to do if you want to become familiar with the whole series. Part Two is a fitting conclusion and well worth it if you’ve been following along from the beginning.
