VAMPIRE DOG?

Mr. Muggle's (the dog's) real name is Lestat.

Heroes was a remarkeable show when it premiered.  Although not fully original (it dabbled into X-Men's mutant territory), but it was entertaining and well written.  That is, until the final big "blow-out" ending.  Since then, the show has barely even show a glimmer of hope, let alone the brilliance it displayed when it first came on.

QUALITY:
Great.  The picture is crisp and the sound is lossless.

BONUS FEATURES:
Featurettes, alternate stories, sneak peak of season 4 (via BD Live).

It appears that there are a ton of bonus features but they are really just one hugely broken up and extended "making of" featurette and the sneak peak of season 4 has to be viewed through BD-Live only.  The season is weak, just like the end of season 1 and the entirety of season 2 and the chance of it recovering has completely dwindled.  How it keeps getting renewed is beyond me but the promise of "something greater" is always on the horizon, seemingly never to be fulfilled.  Zachary Quinto's 'Sylar' is still the stand-out character as this season allows him to branch out a bit more but it's certainly not enough to save a show that is not only on life support, but is likely on it's last few heart beats.
