John Tucker is the hottest most dreamy guy in high school that any girl would love to date. It just so happens that 3 girls are lucky enough to be his girl. That is until they find out about each other. Now it is time to get their revenge by taking the new girl in school and turning her into John’s dream girl. Then once he is in love she will break his heart. Ultimate revenge.

If I had to sum up this movie in one word it would be “typical”. The plot is a typical teen movie plot, the acting is typical and average, and the story ends in a typical way. You know how everyone learns a lesson, the hurt only last a moment, and everyone’s lives go back to normal. And just to keep the monotonous theme of typical teenage movie you have the bonus features. There is commentary by only the director and editor, 2 weak deleted scenes, and a dating quiz which is more like a trailer since you don’t get to choose the answer. The only two features that remotely stand out is “On The Rebound” which shows Jesse Metcalfe did all the basketball scenes himself and the People In Planes video for “Instantly Gratified”. If you really enjoy teen movie there is no doubt you will find some slight amusement with “John Tucker” just don’t expect any kind of depth.
