Something To Be Tour (Live at Red Rocks)

On DVD:

Running Time:
95 Minutes

Ok, let’s get down to brass tacks. I don’t care for Rob Thomas and I didn’t care for Matchbox 20 when they were around. Have they reunited or come off of hiatus recently? Seems like I saw something about that a little while ago.

But yeah, I’m definitely not the target audience for this DVD. I can appreciate his general singing and playing talents, but his music simply doesn’t connect with me in any way. If you’re a fan, you’ll probably dig this (even if the show is a few years old). The video quality is clear enough and the camera work is decent. Obviously it’s set in an incredible venue, so you have that backdrop to work with.

And that’s pretty much it. You get the full concert and not much else besides in terms of special features. There’s nothing particularly flashy about this release, so make of that what you will. Check it out if you’re a Rob Thomas/Matchbox 20 fiend. Otherwise, move along. There’s not much to see here.
