Spongebob: Spongebob You're Fired

Usually I’m pretty on the fence about kids shows on DVD. We live in a day and age where the price of almost any DVD can get you a month’s worth of streaming, which basically means you can get even more of whatever show you’re looking for plus more. Spongebob You’re Fired seems to be one of those special cases. 

 

As I watched the over 2+ hours of Spongebob with the kids it was enjoyable because every episode in the collection was one we had seen before so we were already invested with a bit of nostalgia. Even if we hadn’t seen any of them, 2+ hours is a lot of content for the small agreeable price of $8.96 (Amazon). 

 

Yeah, I know. Most streaming services that feature seasons of Spongebob are available for less, but if you’re looking for an on the go DVD for long trips you could do worse then Spongebob You’re Fired. It has so much content kids will watch all or some of it and be satisfied. Parents who are looking to purchase take along DVD’s for the kids will find the value pretty satisfying as well. 

 

There’s nothing new on the DVD. There’s no bonus features that make the collection a must have, but it’s a massive collection of episodes for cheap and Spongebob is a household name all kids will more then likely know and love. Definitely a deal.
