Sydney White heads off to college and decides to join the same sorority that her mom was a part off. But growing up with only her Dad to raise her Sydney doesn’t fit in that well with some of the sorority girls mainly Rachel Witchburn.

Due to this she is made a fool of at a sorority event and left with nowhere to stay. Sydney is soon embraced by a group of misfits. Determined to not let the Greek student body to be the only ones that reap the benefits of college life Sydney and her group of dorks set out to win the student election and maybe Sydney might also walk away with the heart of the prince.

Well if you haven’t guessed by now this is an up-dated tale of “Snow White” where the dwarfs are dorks, the poison apple is a computer virus, and the magic mirror is now a voting website. From the dorks to the sororities every single stereotype is done to the extreme in an over-the-top goofiness. Once the initial introduction is over the movie then becomes more cute than too much. I found though that the direction & story maybe be more suited for the tween crowd; however there is a PG-13 rating for language and sexual humor.

Now it is rare that I complain about there being too many bonus features; but in this case it really got to me. You do have a gag reel, deleted scenes, and the trailer which are all fine. But the others should have been combined into one bonus feature instead of the 6 that are listed. Each one has all the cast and crew talking about the other actors, the house, or even the puppet. You do get some behind the scenes footage and interviews; but most of it comes across as them stretching to fill out the DVD with mindless compliments back and forth from one actor to the next to inflate each others egos. One making of feature would have sufficed.
