The ABCs of Death tells 26 short horror stories involving oftentimes strange and disturbing methods to die for each letter of the alphabet. In a way, it almost feels like the show 1000 Ways to Die only more horrific and with less science involved. If blood curdling screams is your poison of choice, prepare for 26 vastly different methods of death.

Each letter of the alphabet represents a specific killing method or overall term that can be used to describe the short film. In the end, it’s up to the 26 individual directors to create a short narrative of death surrounding their letter. Don’t expect any stereotypical deaths like asphyxiation or decapitation. The ABCs of Death likes to be creative and much of the fun comes from trying to guess the word before they tell you at the end of the short. A few are easy, but the majority of them are so obscure that you can’t help but wonder what goes on in these directors’ sick and twisted minds.

While it may be classified as a horror film, The ABCs of Death has more of a tongue-in-cheek style of horror that is more humorous than scary. There are also a few WTF moments that’ll make you question the sanity of the directors, as what they create can be pretty disturbing.

You’re bound to find at least one short you’ll like, and there are plenty of others that’ll surprise you. The ABCs of Death is well worth watching and features a wide range of horror deaths for your enjoyment.
