Have you ever wondered why you dye eggs, or they are hidden, or why you have new clothes?  Well this cute story will give you one story behind all these traditions. It starts off in Kidsville a town full of only children and the discovery of a small bunny. As the bunny they call Sunny grows up he has the idea of sharing the delicious eggs from Kidsville to other towns. But soon Sunny finds out that the closest town may not be ready for what Sunny has to offer.

I remember this special from when I was a child and it is still cute and charming. Fred Astaire is a wonderful narrator that takes children on this magical journey complete with songs. It is great to see this released on DVD for a new generation to enjoy. There is only one bonus feature “The Magic Of Stop Motion: A Gallery Of Shorts” which has 3 shorts. One I would recommend picking up to get ready for Easter.
