The Kids Are All Right (BLU-RAY)

The Kids Are All Right

On Blu-Ray:
Monday, November 15, 2010
Running Time:
1 Hour, 44 Minutes

Features children of Steven Spielberg & Kate Capshaw, Micheal Eisner, and David Mamet.

Oscar Nominee’s Annette Bening and Julianne Moore star as partners Nic and Jules whose children, produced through artificial insemination, meet the sperm donor their parents used to conceive them with. When the kids meet Paul (Mark Ruffalo) they take to him and introduce him to their parents. Needless to say issues ensue. Also stars Josh Hutcherson and Mia Wasikowska.

White levels seem a little high in this transfer leaving a slight hue over the picture which also has quirks of its own. The quality of the film looks rough with salt and pepper blots here and there. Definition is a bit off leaving the overall picture tipping the scales slightly enough to make this a better then DVD quality transfer. Colors don’t explode like they should either. Audio is well done with an English DTS-HD MA. Sound level is perfectly balanced offering up the seemingly best mix for all channels.
