Toy Story 2

A
Running Time:
1 Hour, 32 Minutes
THAT'S A LOT OF POTATOES

In the scene in the airport baggage area, it took an average of 70 hours to render each frame.

The original Toy Story broke new ground.  While Toy Story 2 didn't really do anything for animation that the original didn't already portray, it did break tradition and actually passed for a good sequel, which is rare.  Though not as good as the original, it was still an incredibly entertaining film that was better than most of kid's fare at the time.

QUALITY:
Great.  The transfer is impeccable and Disney continues to elude the competition with their animated blu-rays.

BONUS FEATURES:
Blu-Ray & DVD versions of the film, a ticket to Toy Story 3 in theaters, a sneak peak at Toy Story 3, all the original bonus material and a few new ones, some repeating what is on the Toy Story blu-ray.

The repeating of bonus material is kind of lame and the ticket and sneak peak are obsolete once Toy Story 3 is out of theaters, but the rest of the bonus materials are good.  The movie transfer is great and the combo pack offers a great value.  All in all, a great release of a movie that helped turn kid's movies from kid's entertainment to wide-ranging entertainment.
