Wild Hogs (BLU-RAY)

Wild Hogs

On Blu-Ray:
Tuesday, August 14, 2007
Running Time:
100 minutes

The year’s biggest surprise hit finds its way onto DVD and Blu-Ray Disc.  Wild Hogs is certainly the most unlikely candidate for highest grossing comedy of the year (Time Allen, John Travolta, Martin Lawrence and William H. Macy in a movie about over-aged wannabe bikers in leather?)

Clear, especially in the most sunny of days on set.  The picture is crisp and the sound lossless, so you can’t really ask for more.

Bonus Features:
Bonus features include deleted scenes, alternate ending, outtakes and more make for a jam-packed DVD that is a surprising guilty pleasure.

Wild Hogs isn’t a great movie and the inflated box office gross can probably be explained with the fact that there really weren’t a lot of family-friendly comedies out at the time.  But, ultimately, the movie is funny, the special features are plenty, and the quality is explicit so I can’t thing of any reason not to recommend this disc.
