Zombieland takes what Shaun of the Dead did and recreates it in America. Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson star in this undead comedy as the last survivors of the zombie apocalypse struggle to stay alive and reach safety.

Columbus (Eisenberg) has managed to stay alive by sticking to his many rules for when dealing with zombies; rules including Cardio and Seatbelts. Eventually he meets Tallahassee (Harrelson) who is the exact opposite and lives in the moment doing what he does best, killing zombies.

From start to finish, Zombieland is full of bloodied, flesh eating corpses and the humorous deaths that befall them. Eisenberg aka Michael Cera 2.0 is excellent as your unusual hero, and with the help from a few friends, he’s able to become the man he’s always wanted to be. Harrelson is crazy which fits the roll perfectly. His never ending hunt for a Twinkie is just one of his crazy little quirks. Throw in the beauty that is Emma Stone and you have a winner on your hands.

Everyone hates zombies so this is something we all can enjoy. What makes it so perfect is the fact that the characters are your average people, just like you and I. Stealing cars, firing guns in the air, and pretty much doing whatever they want is something we would all probably do should the world come to this fate. It really is a reflection of ourselves, well, at least myself.

If you enjoyed Shaun of the Dead then you’ll love Zombieland and its nonstop humor and blood splatters. Words cannot express the level of awesomeness this movie is on so just go and see it. You can’t be disappointed.
