Title: Jennifer’s Body Genre: Horror Starring: Megan Fox, Amanda Seyfried Studio: 20th Century Fox Runtime: 102 minutes Release Date: December 29, 2009 Format: BLU-RAY Discs: 2 Notes: Digital Copy MPAA Rating: Rating: ( )Grade: F An hour and 42 minutes of Megan Fox walking around being her slutty, ditsy self only with the power now to kill people, oh and you don’t get to even see her naked for those that can look past the fact that the girl just screams STDs. Not exactly what I call entertaining in the least. The killings are boring and uninspired often being shown only through shadows or the aftermath. The story is pretty nonexistent even for this kind of movie. In fact it seems that the only things they were relying on was the “hot” appeal of Megan Fox and the oh so very quirky attempts at coming up with new catchphrases for teens from Diablo Cody. Lime green jello? Are you kidding me? How old is she anyway? By the end of the movie I honestly felt like my I.Q. dropped significantly and really wished I had just watched “The Hangover” again instead of wasting my time with this. And as an added bleck that is this release are the bonus features. Gag reel is really a behind the scenes montage of green screen stuff and as if Megan Fox’s head couldn’t swell any more in an obvious ego boost perhaps to make her stop crying over how bad this movie did you get the “Megan Fox Is Hot” feature simply showing you a montage of scenes from the movie that is suppose to prove that somehow she is hot. Complete waste, unless this actually helps out in sinking Megan Fox’s career which if she is already playing the lesbian kiss card she must know that it is coming. NOTE: For the few Megan Fox fans that are out there I already know what you will say it is your go to defense when it comes to her you will cry out that “Your just jealous”. Here is my reply to you. I can admit when someone is more physically attractive than I; but that is not what I hold against her. I adore Angelina Jolie, Natalie Portman, Olivia Wild, and so many others. What I do not care for when it comes to Megan Fox is her personality, it takes whatever outside beauty she may have and ruins it. So no I am not jealous of her, I would never want to become that ungrateful, self-centered, vain, and disrespectful. |
