I have no idea what was going through the minds of people at Cartoon Network when they decided to release this set. It makes no sense. If you are trying to get people into Adult Swim shows and use this release as a sampler of sorts then why wouldn’t you include the first season or volume of each show not the 2nd or in some cases the 3rd. Next many of these were released many years ago and have since been released in complete series sets so I don’t see it appealing to fans either as they probably own one if not more of the series included.

All that I can think of is they really wanted to release the Pilot DVD but were afraid no one would buy just that. So they took a look in their warehouse or whatever and realized that they had an abundant amount of these specific DVD’s laying around. So to get rid of them and have people pick up the Pilot DVD they figured they would just cram them all into one box and be done with it. What is the worst part about this release is I am not finding the Pilot DVD being released on its own. So if you are an Adult Swim fan and are curious about it your only options are to either spend around $69.98 and possibly re-buy some parts of series or get stuck with random volumes of series or sit around and wait to see if they release it by itself.
