‘A Star is Born’ Returning to Theaters with Extra Footage

Written by Matt Rodriguez

The Oscar-winning A Star is Born, which won the Academy Award for Best Original Song for “Shallow,” will be returning to 1,150+ theaters beginning this Friday, March 1st. In addition, the new theatrical release will include nearly 12 minutes of additional footage.

This includes never-before-seen footage of Ally singing to Jack “Is That Alright?” in the wedding sequence; Jack in his studio singing “Too Far Gone”; Jack and Ally writing a new song together, entitled “Clover,” and more according to the press release. In addition, there will be extended versions of “Black Eyes”; “Alibi”; and Lady Gaga’s Ally in her impromptu a cappella performance of “Shallow.” Both Gaga and Bradley Cooper wowed audiences with their live performance of “Shallow” at the Oscars this past weekend.

The new cut of A Star is Born will only be in theaters for one week so you better hurry and get your tickets while they last.
