Paramount Pictures has released the official teaser trailer for Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, the seventh film in the Mission: Impossible franchise. The release comes days after the trailer footage leaked on social media.
There are still little details surrounding the plot of the film, but the teaser trailer features a montage of action and stunts while Cruise’s Ethan Hunt is told that his days of “fighting for the greater good are over” and that he must “pick a side” by Henry Czerny’s Eugene Kittridge, the former director of the IMF who was last seen in the original Mission: Impossible.
Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, and Vanessa Kirby all reprise their roles from previous film and are joined by newcomers Hayley Atwell, Esai Morales, and Pom Klementieff, all of whom can be seen in brief glimpses in the teaser.
Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One is set for release next year on July 14, 2023 with Dead Reckoning Part Two scheduled a year later on June 28, 2024.
