Warner Bros. Discovery showcased a new trailer for The Flash during their CinemaCon presentation that focuses on Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen teaming up with Michael Keaton’s Batman and Sasha Calle’s Supergirl to fix a broken universe.
Directed by Andy Muschietti, The Flash is heavily influenced by the Flashpoint arc from comics in which Barry Allen travels into the past in an attempt to prevent his mother’s murder but instead finds himself creating multiple alternate timelines that change the status quo of the DC Universe. In the trailer, we can see that one of those timelines involves the arrival of Kara Zor-El on Earth instead of Superman, with Michael Shannon also returning to reprise his role as General Zod. Ben Affleck is also returning as Batman from the DCEU timeline. Check out the action packed trailer below and see for yourself.
