The race is on and the clock is ticking in the latest trailer for Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer. The film follows the creation of the first atomic bomb at the hands of J. Robert Oppenheimer, played by Cillian Murphy, whose contributions changed warfare forever.
The new trailer gives audiences the closest look at the film’s story. The United States is in a race with Germany to develop a weapon that could turn the tide of World War II. Oppenheimer leads a team of the world’s best scientists, building an entire town to house them and their families in, to create the impossible.
Oppenheimer opens in theaters on July 21, 2023.
