A new trailer for Denis Villeneuve’s continuing saga, Dune: Part Two, has been released. The trailer heavily features Paul Atreides and his love interest Chani as he rises in power among the Fremen people. Meanwhile House Harkonnen continues to hunt down the last remnants of House Atreides in the ongoing war for control of Arrakis.
This latest trailer provides new looks at Austin Butler’s Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, Baron Harkonnen’s newphew and successor. We also get the first glimpse of Emperor of the universe, Shaddam IV, played by Christopher Walken. According to the official synopsis:
“Dune: Part Two will explore the mythic journey of Paul Atreides as he unites with Chani and the Fremen while on a warpath of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeavors to prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.”
Dune: Part Two releases in theaters on November 3, 2023.
