'Huawei': A foreshadowing name?

Chinesepod's Carlie discusses the meaning of the name 'Huawei' in light of the recent national security concerns of the Whitehouse

A Utah woman trying to out-drive and escape police officers was stopped when her vehicle was hit by a train – twice. According to the Associated Press, the 29-year-old woman was making her get away at up to 100 miles per hour Sunday. Thinking she could narrowly escape the officers on her tail, she drove under the railway warning crossing arms. That's when she met with disaster. KHOU reports that several rail cars of one trained sideswiped the woman's car, trapping her on the tracks running parallel to the rushing train. An officer approached the woman's car to attempt to help the woman out of the car, but less than a minute later, he had to retreat as a second train barreled into the woman's car. Woods Cross police officials say that the woman fled a friend's home after the police were called there. Panicked, she tried to speed away from the officers. The woman made it out alive, scrapping by with only broken bones. Image: YouTube screen shot
