CNN apologizes for playing Pink's 'Stupid Girls' ahead of Sarah Palin segment

'Huawei': A foreshadowing name?

Chinesepod's Carlie discusses the meaning of the name 'Huawei' in light of the recent national security concerns of the Whitehouse

Sarah Palin recently came out in support of Chick-Fil-A, which made their views on same-sex marriage clearn saying they support “the biblical definition of the family unit.” She took to her Twitter account to post a picture of herself with her husband Todd at a Chick-Fil-A, writing , “Stopped by Chick-fil-A in The Woodlands to support a great business.” On Sunday, the former vice presidential candidate appeared on CNN, and the song choice ahead of her segment is raising some eyebrows. According to The Huffington Post, the network played Pink’s “Stupid Girls” ahead of Palin coming out. "Sarah Palin is apparently hungry for chicken and controversy," said CNN anchor Randi Kaye. But a spokesperson for CNN has told Mediaite “The music selection was a poor choice and was not intended to be linked to any news story. We regret any perception that they were planned together.” Do you agree with NewsBusters’ Noel Sheppard that there would be “outrage” if this happened to a female Democrat?
