FX is staying in the spy game.
The cable network has ordered a fifth season of the animated spy comedy Archer consisting of 13 episodes. The show also will enter the outstanding comedy series race at the Emmys.
Thus far in its fourth season, the H. Jon Benjamin and Aisha Tyler starrer is up 44 percent year-over-year in the adults 18-34 demographic and 36 percent in the advertiser-coveted adults 18-49 demo.

"Adam Reed, Matt Thompson and the incredible cast -- H. Jon Benjamin, Aisha Tyler, Jessica Walter, Chris Parnell, Judy Greer, Amber Nash, George Coe and Lucky Yates -- are comedic geniuses. It is truly rewarding the way in which the audience and fans have embraced their work and that the ratings to continue to grow. The quality of Archer is undeniable."
Reed and Floyd County Productions created the series, which is exec produced by Reed and Matthew Thompson. Archer's fourth season wraps at 10 p.m. April 11 with the second of a two-part finale.
The series ranks as one of the network's core comedy offerings, which also include Louie, Wilfred, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Anger Management, Legit and The League.

It is one of the most raunchy
It is one of the most raunchy and kooky animated shows on TV not named South Park or Family Guy. You should check it out if because I know your sense of humor is as twisted as mine.
