Jonah Hill has been an actor, and he has been a writer. Now he could go for the hat trick and be a director. Hill is mulling an offer to make his debut as a helmer with the sci-fi horror project The Kitchen Sink. The project is being produced by former Columbia Pictures production chief Matt Tolmach and was the first project he acquired using his discretionary fund in late January. The project is now set up at Sony. Written by Oren Uziel, the story sees teenagers of the zombies and vampire variety who must all band together and suppress their urge to kill each other long enough to repel an alien invasion. Columbia has been high on Hill ever since he starred in 2007's Superbad. Hill also wrote 21 Jump Street for the studio and is starring in and exec producing the pic, which is in preproduction.
