USA Network has renewed White Collar for a fourth season. White Collar, created by Jeff Eastin, will return with a 16-episode order. Production is set to begin next year. Currently, the series is filming the second half of its third season, which will return in January 2012. The caper drama, starring Matt Bomer and Tim DeKay, recently ended the first half of its second season with a season high 4.3 million total viewers tuning in. Season-to-date, White Collar has averaged 3.9 million on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. "We're thrilled to offer our viewers another season that promises some of the best writing in television, unexpected twists and generous helpings of America's favorite bromance," said USA Network co-presidents Jeff Wachtel and Chris McCumber. White Collar joins a strong lineup at USA, with the recently renewed buddy lawyer series Suits, Burn Notice, In Plain Sight and Fairly Legal among those returning. Earlier this summer, the network greenlit Michael Ealy's Common Law to series. It is highly likely that rookie Necessary Roughness will return for a second round. |
