SSX Tricky puts you in the middle of the world snowboarding circuit. You are given numerous choices of different snowboarders and a variety of courses. This game has a lot of stars behind it too. The voices of David Arquette, Jim Rose, Billy Zane, and Lucy Lui help bring life to the riders. The music is an awesome mix with Run DMC, BT, Hybrid, Bif Naked, and Aphrodite.
It takes a few tries to get tricks down; but for the most part they are easy. Some of the boards are difficult due to the lack of areas to do tricks. There are many new players and items to work at opening; such as outfits, snowboards, stat points, and new players. You have to win medals in races or trick competitions. Some of the moves are difficult to pull off because many tricks are so similar. But if the world circuit is not your thing you can compete with friends. This a little more of a cartoon version of a snowboarding game than 1080 but it is still enjoyable.
