Mojo Thunder

The Peach Kings are a duo comprised of Paige Wood and Steven Dies. Their style can be described as a mix between Indie, Rock, and Blues. Their latest EP, “Mojo Thunder” was released on June 3rd and perfectly showcases what they are capable of across 5 tracks. I am surprised The Peach Kings are still unsigned to any major record company, but it does give them that certain edge that is so rare in mainstream music.

With sultry vocals coupled with hard guitar riffs, The Peach Kings are the total package. The playful vocal exchanges and thoughtful lyrics really had me mesmerized throughout all of the songs. As for the catchy instrumentals and perfect mix of genres, I was tapping my foot on each and every song. The only thing missing on this EP was that I wanted to hear more from The Peach Kings. Otherwise, every track on this EP was really good in their own right, but “Say What” was my favorite. For those reasons, I am giving “Mojo Thunder” an “A.”
