Milkshake’s Got A Minute begins with a skit. Lisa Matthews wants to get the guys in the studio to cut a track but all of them are busy. Worse, all of them put her on hold. It’s not unheard of to kick off a kids album in this fashion and it gets the kids on page as to the names and personalities of the players involved in the band. Then were off.

Got A Minute, for all intents and purposes, is simply an entertaining album for the little ones. While it’s got a few messages about loving one another and making this world a better place, the album is a whopping thirty three tracks full of silly fun that kids will love. Not too much heaviness in the album, just enough to get a few points across before heading back into a silly just for fun barrage of tunes kids can dance to, pretend to, and enjoy. From hip hop to country Milkshake really come off as a higher quality sounding Disney or PBS type band. Lots of humor and some great music. Enjoy.
