It is moving day for Jessica into The Dante, an old building that just gives off an aura of evil and creepy. If that wasn’t bad enough the tenants living there are a little off, saying odd things, filming her, and just entering without knocking. From there Jessica starts’ seeing her neighbors dead in the most horrible ways; but no one else seems to notice. As her mind starts to crack glimpses of her past pop up and to try and stay sane she clings to the only neighbor that seems to understand. As the story unravels Jessica will come face to face with her fear and will have to make the right choice.

The end results of the movie are fairly predictable; but in order to try and keep you guessing they throw you right into the middle of the story. Everything comes at you real fast and at first can be confusing or just plain frustrating. By the end you understand basically what happened and why it did to Jessica; but you are not given many other answers. Like who are the others that are involved, why them, and why this trial is so different from what did happen in Jessica’s past.

While I like my movies to get right to the point that only works for things like action movies and comedies. For thrillers the whole point is to build slowly, work on peoples’ minds, and then deliver the answers at the end that will mess with you are catch you off guard. “Circle Of Eight” instead rushes right into what almost feels like the middle of the story, throws in a bunch of things to try and confuse you, but in the end they couldn’t explain them so they didn’t.
