SEASON 7 PART 1:
This is a good example of too many reality shows being aired on TV. Ghost Hunters is a show about a group of people going around to places that have a history of being haunted or to homes that supposedly have ghosts in them. There's not much more to the show then that, which is why this and many other shows continue to be aired because they are very cheap to make and they draw in viewers that gain them money. The show tries to be interesting with the way it's edited but I still can't get myself to like this show.

Granted, Ghost Hunters has a decent premise for a show in trying to prove that there are spirits/ghosts that really do haunt the world. There's a slight problem with that though they never really prove it. At least not for me they don't. I tried to believe, there where times that the idea was creepy, but in the end all I saw was a show that had people walking around in the dark with night vision cameras whispering and freaking out cause they think they saw and/or heard something. After a few episodes I got tired of watching it for the attempt of finding a ghost and started to watch it because I was wondering how they where going to explain that there was no ghost. Which was still not that entertaining.

It's not all bad though. I do like the stories that come along with the episodes in explaining what is going on in each location. These stories are the most interesting aspect to the show and were the only reason I was able to make it through the whole DVD set. Now if they were able to prove without a shadow of doubt that there was a ghost or spirit in one of the episodes, just one, I would have been hooked waiting for another ghost to appear. Instead, the show just goes on the same way in each episode, even though they go to different locations that some are pretty cool and I'll probably never see in my life beyond this instance, but I still got bored and distracted with the show. If the show was a half hour in length, which would really be about 22 minutes, instead of 45 minutes long I think my interest in it would have last longer. The worst aspect about this DVD set was not the show itself but the packaging of the DVD’s. I’ve seen some cheap ways to put the discs in the case but this is by far the worst way I’ve seen. Instead of getting holders for individual discs, the 4 discs are stacked up on each other and being held down by a tab on the top and bottom.
