By now you know the routine, toys from your childhood brought to life by stop motion and perform in comical skits, with a variety of guest actors to do the voices. I often find “Robot Chicken” to be hilarious; but there are some skits that fall flat. When it comes to comedy though this is to be expected, it is hard to be funny all the time.

Some of my favorites are the Dark Crystal rap, the “Wizard Of Oz” parody, and the season opening with Joss Whedon, and Seth MacFarlane. While always having some vulgar elements and violent skits, this season brings up the subject of rape too many times for my liking and there is a great deal of fart humor that is a miss for me. Hopefully this show won't come down to depending only of those things in the future.

If you are a fan and have been watching all the seasons up to now you too may have noticed that time and time again the same voices popup for different characters. I understand that they are running with limited regular voice actors; but I do think that they would do well to perhaps hire on just one more to give the show some new variety.

The numerous bonus features included in this release are a nice touch giving you even more skits that were deleted.
