At first glance, I figured that Robot Combat League would be a cheap knock-off of Real Steel from a few years ago. While I'm sure that there are some simliarities, I quickly realized that this is more Rock 'Em, Sock 'Em Robots. Big robots duking it out in a big ring, being controlled remotely by humans? Well ok, maybe this is Rock 'Em, Sock 'Em Robots via Real Steel, boiled down for easy TV consumption. With Chris Jericho hosting, I'm sure the creators were hoping to engender a certain wrestling vibe as well.

The Originals revolves around Klaus (Joseph Morgan), who returns to the supernatural melting pot that is the French Quarter of New Orleans, a town he helped build centuries ago, where he is reunited with his diabolical former protege Marcel (The Game's Charles Michael Davis). The Originals is a spinoff of The Vampire Diaries.

Leah Pipes, whose credits also include Life is Wild and The Deep End, will play Camille, a college psychology student fascinated by the study of human behavior unaware of the supernatural universe that exists around her.

She joins Daniel Gillies and Phoebe Tonkin, who will reprise their roles as Original vampire Elijah and werewolf Hayley, respectively, and Daniella Pineda and Danielle Campbell, who will play witches named Sophie and Davina, respectively.
