Ronda Rousey to Star in Film Based on Her Autobiography

Following her monumental win at UFC 190 against Bethe Correia this past Saturday, UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey has announced that she will star in the film adaptation of her autobiography My Fight/Your Fight, Variety reports.

Paramount Pictures has picked up the rights to the book, with Mark Bomback on board as executive producer and Mary Parent serving as a producer alongside Rousey herself.

“It’s a real honor to be a part of bringing Ronda’s incredible story to the bigscreen,” Parent said.

"Can't wait to work with Paramount, the talented Mark Bomback and Mary Parent," Rousey said in a post on Instagram. "When it's time to make this, I promise to make it special."

Rousey is no stranger to film, making her on screen debut in The Expendables 3 and later going on to appear in Furious 7 and Entourage. She will next appear in next year's Mile 22, which set to begin production in January. She's done all this while maintaining an undefeated fighting career with a record of 12-0.
