Doomsday Invades Infinite Crisis as the Batmobile Roams Arkham and DC Does 6 Movies in 2 Years

INFINITE CRISIS THE GAME:
DC has put out some good multi-media titles bases off their comics and one that is looking to be a popular one is the new multiplayer online battle arena game Infinite Crisis. Whew, that's a lot to say when describing what type of game Infinite Crisis is but here's a better way, free-to-play multiplayer online game, well I think the only important part is the FREE-TO-PLAY. Anyways, like the game Injustice Gods Among Us, DC will be releasing some printed comic titles based off of the game Infinite Crisis. Now if you are a gamer but not a comic reader then you might want to consider picking up you a copy of the first issue of Infinite Crisis: Fight For The Multiverse when it hits the comic shops on June 16th (next Wednesday).

That comic will included a free download code for a Doomsday champion and costume to use in the Infinite Crisis game. If you think you can get this code any other way (I'm sure there will be some online folks trying to do their thing without getting the comic), then think again because it will not be offered in anything else other than the comic. Seems like they are going to make a few extra dollars on this title because I will make sure to pick up this first issue so I can get my own code and who knows, depending on how well this works they might offer future codes.

THE BATMOBILE, I SAID THE BATMOBILE!!!:
I said that I wasn't going to get the PS4 until my PS3 completely died on me. Well, I have been forced to change my mind about that and will be getting one a lot sooner than I expected (considering I still have my PS2 that's still in working order I didn't foresee my PS3 quitting for many years if at all). When I use the word forced, I really mean that I am being forced into getting a new system. It's all because of the upcoming game, Batman Arkham Knight. Yeah I knew about the game for a little while now but a 5 minute video was released of game play on it that includes the Batmobile.
And you can control it!

It's not like the first game where we see the Batmobile just sitting there and we went to it for a few upgrades, this time it's part of the game play. Not only that but it turns into a tank with cannons and all. That wasn't the tipping point for me however, even as cool as this trailer looks with the use of the Batmobile and the opening of seeing the gloves, chest piece, and cowl of the bat suit, but it's the preorder that sold me. With the preorder of the game there will be a code included of Harley Quinn. Yes, the woman that I'm in love with, Harley Quinn will supposedly be a playable character. I say supposedly cause even though it's said that you can "Play as Harley Quinn" at the end of the trailer that don't mean that she will only be useable in the bonus levels where you are either doing the hunt or fight stages. Still, this game looks insanely good and cool with the graphics and how the map will be larger area to play. Enough so that I now want to be getting the new console and I will be preordering the game so I can get Harley Quinn.

MOVIE NEWS:
Seems like today is going to be DC Comics blog day because now I have some rumors spreading about the DC/WB movies for the future. Even though we have a 3 year wait between Man of Steel and Batman vs Superman Dawn of Justice, there's now a rumor that says DC/WB will release 6 movies in a two year span. Starting with the Dawn of Justice movie May 2016 and ending with Man of Steel 2 May 2018. Here's the list of movies between those two.
May 2016 – Batman v Superman
July 2016 – Shazam
Christmas 2016 – Sandman
May 2017 – Justice League
July 2017 – Wonder Woman
Christmas 2017 – Flash/Green Lantern team-up
May 2018 – Man Of Steel 2

Will they do this? Like I said it's a rumor right now but if they do it's a huge project for them and a huge step from having the one movie that takes many years to put out. When it comes to live action movies the DC/WB people haven't been that quick about it or that good with them so this is something that I'm skeptical about. First off the list of movies has me wondering. Sandman, sure I know the comic, I know a lot of people that do, it's a huge cult favorite, in fact there's a new limited series that started again, but on a mass basis, how many people know about him? Will this movie be one of interest when it hits the theaters? Will they get enough people to want to watch it and know what it is and like it?

Same can be said for Shazam, even though he's a popular character and was big back in the 40's but that was a long time ago and he's not as widely known. Then you have the FLash/Green Lantern team up that as a comic fan and a Green Lanter fan (I have a GL ring that I wear every day as well as 4 1:1 scale power batteries), this movie would be awesome. I would love to see these two team up because they play so well off each other on the pages but on the big screen, I just don't know. Especially with the Green Lantern movie that was made and made horribly, how can this have hopes of doing well? First off don't, DO NOT, bring back Ryan Rynoalds as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern, secondly don't have the suit the CGI painted on suit, lastly, don't, PLEASE DO NOT, have the story be "Gorilla Warfare" that ran as a 4 issue crossover event in Flash and Green Lantern comics in 1992. As for the rest, as long as they don't do something like bring in someone like Jesse Eisenberg for Lex Luthor, oh wait they are doing that, well never mind I won't continue that thought.
