JLAW WON AN OSCAR for Best Actress award at the 85th Annual Academy Awards for her role in Silver Linings Playbook. In classic JLaw style, tripped on her way up to the stage!
Post-win press:
After her Oscar win, JLaw was seen sporting darker hair. It turns out, Jennifer was headed to Hawaii to finish filming on Catching Fire.
At the Oscars on Sunday, Jennifer told the press,
“I go get my hair dyed for Catching Fire reshoots and fly to Hawaii tomorrow morning. [We'll be there for] two weeks. [It's] not reshoots, they’re just scenes we haven’t finished.” {hunger-games.net}
Jack Nicholson got a little weird & creepy with JLaw:
Two new posters were released for Catching Fire last week! They reminded me of propaganda posters of Russia and the USSR. I’m sure this is on purpose. If we were citizens of Panem, I’m sure these would be the poster’s we’d see right before the Victory Tour would roll into town.
The same day The Capitol PN Facebook page posted a link back t CapitolCouture.pn that says, “Chins up. Smiles on. Fashion-forward citizens of Panem, are you prepared to spring into the Capitol?”.
When you click on the link the Capitol website appears to be locked and requiring a password
Instead of entering a password, you trace a pattern while holding mouse down. After that you will see this screen:
There is also now an Instagram account for Capitol Couture, but no pics yet.
Update: Our reader Ellie noticed this message on the site as well – “Always Elegant. Always Prompt. Join us on March 4. #LadiesFirst” Sounds like something will be happening on Monday! {thehob.org}
