Jesse Stone: Thin Ice

A simple night moonlighting on a stake-out with a friend and then off to dinner; but things turn bad fast as Jesse is shot and his friend is close to death. As his friend struggles in the hospital Jesse sets out for answers. Meanwhile back in Paradise some of the council members want to see more tickets wrote and less bad press coming from their police chief. Jesse is given a warning about his behavior. A distraught mother visits Paradise positive that whoever kidnapped her infant son years ago sent her a letter. Jesse understands that the chances are slim and he is unable to put his full attention on the case. However Rose feels attached to the case and sets out to solve it herself with guidance here and there from Jesse.
