I've never been a big fan of Moby and his rock/electronica style of music. Still, when I had his upcoming album in my hands, I was hoping for that to change. Unfortunately, that was not the case.
Wait for Me has a very organic sound to it and while that is nice at times, listening to it for the entire album was somewhat of a chore. Music is definitely not meant to be a chore. There were some tracks that fit perfectly with Moby's style and the lyrics included in some of the songs were wonderfully done.
That seemed to be the overall feeling towards Moby; some good, some bad. There haven't been any must-own albums and Wait for Me is simply another one to add to the growing list.
