Priya lives in India and works for a credit card call service. The catch is they have to pretend they are in America, taking on more American names and accents. So every day at work Priya become Jessica. While making routine calls to a client about his credit card being stolen Priya felt a connection. On the other end of the phone Granger Woodruff is scrambling to put together a presentation; but finds that stress is relived whenever he talks to Jessica about his credit. The two decide on meeting up to talk face to face. Finally Priya has a chance to see the world and break free of what is expected by her parents. When the moment comes Priya chickens out and instead when she bumps into Granger introduces herself a Priya not Jessica. With her parents trying to track her down and an arranged marriage to go back to Priya does her best to keep Granger and her parents from meeting.
