M. Night Shyamalan Shopping Around New Film

Not one to take a break between films, M. Night Shyamalan is hard at work on his next feature. Interestingly enough, it isn't a sequel to his forthcoming release of The Last Airbender. Hmmm, does that more or less give us an idea of what to expect next weekend?

According to Heat Vision, Shyamalan has been making the rounds at various studios to drum up support/interest/cold-hard cash for his new mystery project. In typical fashion, everyone is being tight-lipped. Only the highest of high studio executives are getting a glance at the script – with one of his assistants leaning over their shoulder while they read and making damn sure to leave with said screenplay in hand, of course.

While we don’t know what to expect plot-wise, he reportedly already has some interested parties to star. Bradley Cooper (coming off the disappointing box-office of the kick-ass A-Team), Gwyneth Paltrow and Shyamalan alum Bruce Willis are "loosely attached" to headline.

Although at this early stage, this project could be anything. I can only hope we’re not looking at another one of his supernatural thrillers with the now standard "twist."
