'Ocean's Eight' Adds Anne Hathaway, Rihanna, and Helena Bonham Carter

The female-led Ocean's Eleven spinoff, Ocean's Eight, has expanded its cast to seven. Anne Hathaway, Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter, Mindy Kaling and Awkwafina will be joining previously announced Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett as members of the heist team, according to Deadline.

Warner Bros. has also confirmed that the film will start production in New York in October with Gary Ross (The Hunger Games, Free State of Jones) set to direct. Ocean’s Eleven director Steven Soderbergh will produce along with Susan Ekins as executive producer and production senior veep Jesse Ehrman overseeing the film with Greg Silverman for Warner Bros.

With the main cast now at seven, that leaves one more valuable role to fill. Of course, the film needs a good villain to steal from too, right? Ross is also open to the possibilty of cameo appearances by the original Ocean's Eleven cast as well. Who would you like to see cast in the final spot?
