Warts and all, I found myself enjoying Clash of the Titans. But it getting the sequel treatment? Really? Even I'm not crazy about that. Nor did I get the impression people had a good time with the remake like me. What with the ass-awful 3D being slapped on and all.

But that's the word from "TOLDJA!" Warner Brothers and Legendary Pictures are gearing up for a follow-up. Greg Berlanti (screenwriter/producer on Green Lantern and potential director for The Flash) is working on the story.

Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, Gemma Arterton and Ralph Fiennes are all expected to return. The same can't be said for Louie Leterrier who won't return to direct. He will serve as an executive producer. AKA he won't have any direct involvement in the sequel.

WB/Legendary are aiming to have the Titans sequel in theatres by Spring 2012.
