Handy Manny: Motorcycle Adventure

Manny and his tools are on their way to a family reunion when Pat wanders off to find his own family and gets lost Manny must take side roads and short cuts to track him down on top of getting to the reunion on time. It’s a full length feature that’s informative and fun for kids.

The DVD comes with the full length feature Motorcycle Adventure but what surprised me even more was the bonus episode A Very Handy Holiday, a 24 minute long episode that helps kids acknowledge and understand December holiday traditions from other cultures. I know, its been done before, but I felt like in this one it seemed less forward allowing the kids to enjoy the show rather then only trying to convey a lesson. As for the feature on the disc. While it was entertaining it just seemed the extended episode was stretching rather then entertaining and the kids wandered off after the first twenty minutes. It might have been the soft animation, flat and detail-less, that might have done Manny in but I just felt there wasn’t enough substance to the overall story to keep kids interested.

An Interactive Game:

The game plays a shortened version of A Very Handy Holiday and allows kids the option of two difficulty levels when asked a question about the episode. In one you only have two choices to make when the episode stops and asks you a question and in the harder level you get four choices.
